OK I know this is not Lionel, its actually a prewar O gauge American Flyer three rail 561 Pacific. Its been sitting in a junk box in my moms attic for years. Its actually the oldest locomotive Ive possessed. Ive had it since the early sixties. It looks pretty good in the picture but make no mistake - its a phenomenal piece of junk, or at least it was until the miracle of the internet. I have never been able to get it to run but thanks to ebay I was able to score a complete working mechanism for this thing. It should arrive next week and I will finally get it to run (hopefully). Its kind of exciting in a way, to think after nearly fifty years of sitting in a junk pile it will (might) clank its way around a track for the first time in my lifetime.
