OK... I mean come on. Did I really NOT know he was GAY??!? I loved PAUL LYNDE. I mean the guy totally CRACKED ME UP. And he was about as light in the loafers as a gay guy could be. As a young boy, I think I kind of did know. To be honest, I cant remember exactly what I thought about it. I guess maybe I wasnt really aware of what it even fully meant at that time. I mean, I had no frame of reference. Some of the things he said on Hollywood Squares were outRAGEOUS, though. Im not saying he was great or anything, but I do think he was ahead of his time... I suppose part of me thought he was just being funny, but part of me deep down sensed that there was something else that I wasnt quite seeing. Now it seems so obvious. Im not sure when or where I made the connection. Its one of those things that pops into my head once in a while. -_-
