OK, I need to find gainful employment ASAP. Anybody know of anything? I had a phone interview a few weeks ago for social media at AAA/Highroads, which would have been perfect on so many levels, as you might imagine, but I never got to speak to anyone local and they hired someone who "better matched their requirements". I interpret that as hiring "someone who has done the precise job before, whether they were any good at it or not" instead of thinking outside the box a bit and realizing that running reports from Spredfast can be learned in two minutes, while providing original content cannot. As a result, they have the same insipid posts using mediocre stock photos that they had before. Hmm... That seems to have turned into somewhat of a rant, so let me rephrase - anybody know of anything? :D
