OK I talked to the vet this morning to get an update on my Tally boy. No really big changes. He is still doing the same thing with his walking however, he did wiggle his tail a little bit when they went back to check on him so that is good. The doctor wants to keep him for several more days to keep an eye on him, keep his medications stable and keep him calm. We do no I miss him something terrible but I know this is best for him. Especially if I am able to go back to work tomorrow. I wont be home all the time with him and he jumps on and off the back of the couch and stuff all the time. We do not know what caused it to begin with. Like I said in a previous post I noticed something odd with him earlier in the week, called the vet and we took a watch and see position. Tally could have injured himself playing with other dogs, running on or to the end of his cable in the front. He does tend to run to the end of it at full tilt. I dont know if he hurt his back playing, jumping on or off either the bed, couch or anything, if it was the front cable or what. I wish I did know because I would do what i could to fix it right now. I hope the cage rest and meds will help him feel better with no lasting issues. He may not be able to go out in the front yard anymore. It is his favorite place too because he gets to chase the kids, mailman, plus he gets attention and pets from people too. But going out on his cable may no longer be an option and until I come up with something different he may not be able to anymore. I just know I will do anything I can to help him not have to go through this again. I miss my snuggle bug, Thank you all for the continued prays for my boy. Oh and by the way, for those that have sent messages saying negative things or doubting he is at Decorah Animal Hospital here where we live. I certainly dont need crap right now. So those negative people have been banned and those that have posted or requested shares from Tallys page right now all I have to say is REALLY??? My dog is in a precarious situation right now and you want me to share your page??? When my boy is home and doing better we will get back to normal activity here. Until that time my heart is broken my boy is in pain and I have enough on my plate and just do not have the energy to deal with other peoples criticism or critiques of what I should have done to prevent his injury If I really am able to take care of him right. as one persons private message felt the need to inform me. I already feel responsible for not catching it sooner. I dont need others to point out my failure in that area. If you have the poop to private message me have the guts to post it out right on the post here on his page. If you choose to take the cowards way out that is fine. I wont expose you but you can bet your behind you will be blocked and banned from this page. To the others that have been praying for us and supporting us thank you is not enough but it is all I have right now. Tally is in good hands, our vet is the best I know and I trust her with Tallys life. Thank you again to all the encouraging, kind and wonderful words and prayers that have been offered on our behalf.
