OK...Im going to go here. Ray Rice: There was some video of him dragging his fiancé out of an elevator, and it was an apparent Domestic Violence situation. NFL Players are held to a high standard (and in my opinion, they should be). But, after it was all said and done, he was Suspended for 2 games. 2 games. Im not defending anyone, but, Wes Welker took some Mollies at a party in the off-season, and was suspended 4 games. But if you beat your fiancé into unconsciousness, you only get 2 games??? Seriously??? Im curious as to what you all think. If youre not in football, I guess you just have to understand that they have rulings about all this. But, in this case, they suspended Ray Rice 2 games, and then AFTERWARDS, made a rule that if you knock out your fiancé, you get fined 6 games. So...should he be Grandfatherd into that ruling? My $.02, is that his team should suspend him 4 additional games (and they have that right to do that). Bellichek stays by his Whatever is best for the team. In this case? Whats best for the team to suspend him further than what the League gave him. It sends a message to the team...to the League...and to those of us who spend hundreds of dollars to go watch the games.
