I think the term B movie is almost a compliment.. I think that a lot of times people dont realize how much work, creativity AND talent goes into making a feature length movie.. The kind of movie that would be on USA up all night with Rhonda Shear/Gilbert Gottfried.. Those are the kind of movies I want to be involved in. Low budget films can still be a ton of money by working class peoples standards. Some friends and I spent (collectively) around 10k on a feature length horror/mystery film titled DEADLINES that is still in production. Some of the glamorous movie star type details include me eating nothing but gatorade, candy, and chips for something like a month and getting sick and hiding in a closet with an upset stomach (thats a euphemism for terrible diarrhea) and being totally devoted and focused on it for an entire month (which was doing it the fast way).
