OK Im going to say this as a Laner and as admin. Following on from a recent post that has caused some discussion. I think the whole point with this is that if people joined and actually took the time to get to know existing Laners before they jump to judging them and putting their keyboard warrior hat on they might see things a little differently. If they dont well then so be it ...we can have slightly warped senses of humour. There are a couple of things which have come from this post that I think need clarifying....most people get it but Im going to spell it out. We will not tolerate tirades of abuse....no discussions. The Lane can be read by children, most of the time probably not but that stands. There are so many words in the dictionary that can be used without F.ing and blinding. We will not tolerate private messages being copied and pasted on here...that is a complete abuse of the private message system and the person who has written the message. I think it needs be made very clear that if you want to discuss an admin (or anyone else) contacting you thats one thing but copying and pasting the message is not on. As a Laner I actually dont care what any other groups put up with we will not tolerate it. What is the point in having private messages if they are then abused. If this happens in the future with anyone the person will be removed from the Lane no discussions. Other than that keep on being the people we know ...and newbies...take time to get to know us...and if you decide the Lane isnt for you then thats fine too. If the worse that gets said is about someones dress sense when theyre overweight then with all the other things going on in the world I can live with that...and Im a fatty (working to be a thinny) :P
