OK Its time i did this.....To all my FB friends and Fam.... Nitti has a confession to make....9 days ago on monday the 26th of August @ 230 am God awakened me from my sleep to go to the bathroom I thought....When i tried to get out of bed..my right leg would not do anything..notta... zilch.......I almost panicked but my Uncle Charles words rushed into my mind (never lose your POISE!!! Its what separates winners from also-rans) I was having a STROKE.... I managed to drag myself to my neighbors and banged on the door... by this time i could not stand anymore .. I was laying on the ground when he answered the door...I told him I was having a STROKE and to call 911.... He called 911 and 7 min later the ems arrived....I was totally coherent the entire time this was happening...scared as hell and prayin fervently...My FAITH WAS GOING TO BE TESTED THIS NITE I TOLD MYSELF...The EMS did not think I was having a STROKE as I was telling them everything going on....So I told them just take me to Grady...they complied...by this time my entire right side was gone....lwhen I arrived at the Hospital the 2 doctors who took me in were on point...the concluded very quickly I was having a STROKE...They asked me If I wanted to get the TPA shot..Not knowing what it was they explained it was a Clot busting blood thinner but was somewhat dangerous as It could cause internal bleeding....but without it I would probably not get any better than I was.....After 2 milliseconds of mind wrenching deliberation I decided to get the TPA....So Prayin hard and Accepting GODS will we took the IV into my arm...15 min later my face was no longer tingling...30 min later i could feel the fingers on my right hand but nothing was happening with my leg....NOTHING..Then at 45 min I felt a warm feeling go thru my body and a voice spoke to me....(I AM NOT YET THRU WITH YOU MY CHILD YOU HAVE WORK LEFT TO DO)....At that moment i regained feeling in my leg, foot and toes!!!! 10 min later the doctors could not find any problems with my right side ..I had feeling everywhere and total strength had returned...I could have gotten up and walked...But being on the Blood thinner they kept me in the hospital in the ICU for 24 hours... The therapist was amazed after looking at my catscan & MRI that a Stroke the size of a Quarter had hit my brain 8 hrs before and I could stand in front of him on one leg...GOD WORKED A MIRACLE THAT NITE...I AM BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED !!!!!! i SPENT A TOTAL OF 36 HOURS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR A STROKE!!!!! I have no symptoms of anything being wrong with me...people see me and dont even know it....although I do get dizzy sometimes and feel like Ive had 6 shots of don julio reposado...I aint complaining though... I was given a second chance......I will try to be a better person in GODS sight..... And a Better Father, Friend, Brother, to All of you...... OK I just had to get that out there..It was weighing me down......
