OK Mary Wiley, you gave me #16 so here are 16 things you may not know about me (16!! why such a big number?) 1. Im the son of a Lutheran minister; 2. I was diagnosed with diabetes 16 years ago; 3. My favorite number is 7; 4. My wife and mother once both taught 3rd grade at Browns Point Elementary at the same time; 5. I once drop-kicked a basketball the entire length of the court into the basket (dead serious...nobody saw it); 6. I guarded Angus Youngs dressing room door working security at an AC/DC concert; 7. I was an undrafted signee of the Seattle Mariners and went to spring training in 1984; 8. I love crossword puzzles; 9. I consider myself a pretty good writer; 10. I married into real estate and have loved (almost!) every minute of it; 11. Im very proud of my alma mater, Pacific Lutheran University; 12. My HS baseball team (Lakes HS) played for the WA AAA state title in 1979 and got no-hit 10-0 in the championship; 13. My first real job was as Sports Editor of The Lakewood PRESS; 14. I chatted with Dolly Parton (just the two of us) for about 10 minutes at a Willamette University alumni FB game when I was the sports information director there; 15. My first car was a 1962 Pontiac LeMans (three on the floor, could start it with a can opener); 16. I make a mean salmon fettucini.
