OK OK, time for a little truth . The term Black Friday originated in Philadelphia PA. where it was originally used to describe the vehicle and pedestrian traffic the day after Thanksgiving. Its was then used by retailers to depict the point at which they would go from from being in the Red to being in the Black (making a profit. Aside from today, whereas the money spent hasnt been calculated, retailers have made billions from in store and online purchases on Black Fridays in previous years. Its a shame that some folks are gullible enough to accept any explanation for a name, situation, or occurrence without doing their own research. Oh and before any of you spew that Willie Lynch syndrome crap, that has been proven to be a faux document and should not be used as a I could see how it COULD work rational for the behavior of slaves or modern day black people.
