OK, Piyush Jindal thinks everything would be OK if minorities just acted white. Can somebody tell me what that means. He says that minorities need to stop focusing on their unique ethnic identities and just act American. So,Bobby do you want me to act like a Texan, who has scorn for the other 49 states? Like a flag waving Southerner who refuses to admit to the Souths past sins but proudly proclaims their differences from Yankees? Like the New Englander who believes they are the only true patriots because the Revolutionary War started there? Like the Westerner who believes they are the only free people in America and everyone else is inferior? Le the Irish-Americans who March in the St Patricks day parade or the Italian Americans who stubbornly argue that Columbus discovered America? Bobby, Baby, stop hating yourself for who you are and worshipping other people for who you think they are and understand that we havent ever been a melting pot but more like complex gumbo - where all of the ingredients make the dish better.
