OK. Realize this isnt a WOT pull. I was on a painted Stop here line at a redlight. But I had some dude in a BMW X5 right next to me. He jumped at the light a bit and since there was ZERO traffic in front of us, I turned off TC and gave it 3/4 throttle in an effort to stop any wheel spin. The BMW guy tried to launch and I think his TC kept him way back. Freakin noobs. Anyway, heres the video of my acceleration. I drive my vehicles while breaking them in like I plan on driving them for the life of the vehicle. However, when it comes to F/I engines, I tend to be a tad more careful on them until I hit 1500 miles. Likely due to past experiences with other engines because I think these new motors from Ford are broken in from the factory and the only thing that will potentially hurt them is extended idling. So, out of an abundance of caution, I didnt do a FLOOR IT AND POUR IT!! launch. ;)
