OK. So heres the dealio with me right now: A few weeks ago I applied for an editorial internship from WebMD. $14/hr. Office in Marietta. Weeeeell, I thought, MAYBE Ill only drive there once or twice a week and clock in the hours at home. Besides, I could write and create stuff, which is what I do on a regular basis anyway. Got a call yesterday from California. Bloke from WebMD. Says Id be an EXCELLENT (not just good) fit for the job. But, oh, its five days a week, 9 - 5 grind. Now thats from Athens, GA to the west side of Atlanta - 2 hrs or more in stop-and-go traffic. For ten weeks. Hrmmm. I really dont know. If I get the job, Id probably need to shift my entire self over to Atlanta to make it feasible. The experience would be priceless - or everyone says. But I dont know. Only thing I know is, the little key lime pies that Jit Joes sell now are NOT key lime pies. Deceptive little tarts. More sugar cookie crust than filling. Tasty cinnamon crumb pecan mixture underneath, tho. Lets call them lime-flavored pecan cheesecakes.
