OK…So this is really gross and disgusting, but I think that it’s something that everyone can relate to. Have you ever had to take a really intense, hard shit? I mean the kind of shit that feels truly massive. I’m talking about a No. 2 that’s heavily fortified with fiber and glucose and silicone and cheese and God knows what else. So you’re sitting there struggling, trying to squeeze out a turd that’s dense and hard, and meanwhile you have to really maneuver your ass around on the toilet seat and work your sphincter muscles and try not to tear anything in the process. Sweating and straining..it almost feels like you’re a sculptor of some sort, creating a piece of abstract intestinal art out of nature’s own molding clay. And when you finally complete your artistic expression of excrement, you have to gaze down into the bowl for one last look before you flush it away. And then you think to yourself: “Well..this is it. This is my masterpiece. I am Salvador Doody. Or maybe even Pablo Picasshole.” Indeed...its a total release of creativity. And that’s why I love art. Because its good shit.
