OK... The Lake Clubs Bocce Finals are over and done with. And the winning team is... Betty Ford! Hey... thats the team Im on! Wow, what a match. We won the first game fairly easily and then they came back and beat us up in the second game. We went to the third game tie breaker and it went back and forth until it was 7-7. In the third game you only need 10 to win instead of 12 like in the first two games. We got the score up to 9-7 and couldnt close it out. Finally, they had a chance to nail us but they made a couple of bad throws and gave it to us!!! A sincere thank you to the players of the Ball Busters.. they absolutely scared the hell out of us! You should have seen the tons of people in attendance as spectators. They absolutely got their moneys worth even though there was no charge for food or drink. Thank you to Chris and Ed Muransky for putting together a fantastic Bocce Court Resort area and a wonderful Bocce League. Euni and I made a lot of new friends and had a great Summer playing Bocce. Looking forward to next years Bocce League.
