OK Time for more input... Andrew especially from you. New carb gasket and new vacuum lines. it idles much smother but idle is still high and ad you can see when the choke opens she sputters for a min then dies. Good news is before the carb gasket and vacuum line it s idle was very rough and open the choke and instant death. I have adjusted the distributor to a good idle but as soon as i hook the vacuum line up it idles high again. seems to me like low fuel??? should i turn the two fuel screws out more?
