OK. What food items you refuse to eat because it is too weird or unappetizing? For me, that would be balut or chicken feet. Its weird but as a Japanese local guy, I can eat pretty much anything ... but when it comes to chicken feet or balut .. I just cant. When I was working for Intel Corporation, we had a international lunch festival to bring all the people from different countries together. (Costa Rica, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines) One of my Filipino co-worker said that I have to eat the balut. He smiled and said, In my country, it is a test of manhood. You have to eat or you not a man. I knew he was joking and pranking me. I looked at it and said, OK, you can call me a girl. No way, Jose! Then some guy from Texas came over and looked at me, then turned to look at the Filipino; picked up the balut and popped it in his mouth and said, Im a man. But then, his face started to look contorted and discolored ... He said, Crap ... bad move. and ran to the bathroom. My co-worker and I looked at each other and bus out laughing.
