OK admittedly I over-reacted last night and posted here on drama central which I wish I hadnt. When and if your dad calls you as often as mine does, for which I feel blessed, and in his confused state due to old age says things like well I cant starve theres canned food in the house then forgets that he said it and says it 2 more times, knowing someone has taken on the task of taking care of him, you no longer question the validity of the things you are told. I love my family and wrongly I have expected more of them than I should even as they live near my dad and I do not. I should make more money so I can visit more often to make sure my dad is alright. Sadly myself and my better half both who have great jobs and benefits have decided the best course of action may be to make the move home to take care of my dad. I apologize for not realizing that my siblings are too disabled or busy to make sure he is alright. Please hold no ill will towards them as I am clearly more capable of taking care of my dad than they are. Please bless my brother and sister, nieces and family so that they may live the life the so richly deserve. Im sorry I reacted hastily.
