OK, all my Flyers fan friends, I have heard lots of debate. On the signing of Vinny L and what goalie we need etc. SOOOO....lets debate, this will be lengthy but I will start: First, Signing LeCavilier was a good move. A guy who in his career now is a second line center, where he will play this season, he said he was happy to go someplace where the demand for a #1 center was not needed. Good PP/PK faceoff guy. Former captain and cup winner, so he will be a good dressing room guy. I KNOW! we have a million centers again, but this will help! As of right now we are 300K over the cap and we are paying nearly THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS for our defense. So if you trade Coburn, your defense will be Timonen, Streit, Schenn, Grossman, Gervais & Gustoffson THAT does NOT make me warm and fuzzy! NEXT!! Goalie....folks, hate to say it, but put the pipe down over Thomas or Emery or Nabakov. All seem to forget that Thomas is STILL property of the NY Islanders and they will want HIM to be their to goalie. Emery and Nabokov will command to much money. I would like a competitive back-up so I would see if Anton Khudobin of the Bruins is available for say a Brandon Manning type. If not I can See UGH Dan Ellis making his way here. OK, lets debate
