Main Street, Greensburg) (5-7) and Hillview Lanes (7-9) What: Happy Hour/Informational social for Equality PA and bowling afterwards Why: Its time to pass a statewide non-discrimination bill in PA and HB/SB300 is that bill. PA is one of the remaining states that has no statewide anti-discrimination bill. And for all you straight folks who think this doesnt apply to you, youd be wrong! Your boss can fire you if s/he things you act/dress/are gay! So even if your boss only PERCEIVES you to be gay, you can be fired. Equality PA is a statewide organization thats working on grassroots voter activism and were looking for volunteers. This is an informational meeting as well as a gathering of like-minded individuals to talk about how we can change things for the GLBT community in PA. Were hoping to make this a regular monthly activity on the 2nd Friday of every month, so keep your calendars open and join us!
