Had a conversation with a friend today. Just do not understand why people get so worked up over what other people think of them, how they dress, what they do in their share time, etc. Follow the simple rulesof life: 1. Dont work your entire life away---take time to enjoy the fun, interesting, wonderful things in life. (find them, they exist.) 2. Dont give a dam what others think. Unless they pay your rent/mortgage, bills, paycheck, then they just dont matter. Be who you are. 3. Freinds who ignore you or turn their backs on you when you need help---after the hundreds of times you have helped them---are NOT friends. They are USERS! Dump them. 4. Find a hobby or interest and pursue it. 5. Read what you want to read, not what others thinks you should read 6. Enjoy good music 7. Never race on empty 8. Never blast your music louder than the audible level of your radar detector. 9. Never submit to any searches (unless hes really hot) 10. Semis (18 wheelers) are really huge and they WILL flatten pretty much anything that gets in their way---do not cut them off on the highway or you may be the Film at ten. 11. Dont get invovled in illegal shit and dump those who do. Prison is a shitty shitty place to be. Shitty food, no AC, stupid rules and living conditions are deplorable. 12. Dont be afraid to cut off people 13. Never ever ever lend money and never ever ever borrow money 14. Live within your means 15. Dont shove your religion or your religious views down other peoples throats. 16. Dont ever expect me to wear high heels, a dress (or skirt) or make up. And do not suggest to me that I need a make over or that you should give me a make over. You may be offended when I tell you to go screw yourself!! 17. Be self sufficient and fend for yourself because when it all goes to hell--no one else will give a dam. and yes I know my spell check doesnt work and at times I have no clue that I inverted the order of certain letters. Im not getting a grade. If your computer was 10 years old....well Im just glad this one still works.
