OK everyone, we have a weekly food challenge for everyone this week. EMBRACE the SPROUT.. specifically the BRUSSELS SPROUT! Brussels Sprouts are a low calorie, cholesterol fighting vegetable. They are a great source for vitamins K, C and A and contain properties that help fight cancer and repair DNA cells. All good stuff!!! So whats the challenge? 1) Incorporate Brussels sprouts into one of your meals this week (either as part of a main dish, or a side dish on its own) 2) Take a picture of them on your plate and post the pic to the Rock Fitness page as well as your own personal Facebook page. (making sure to tag Rock Fitness) 3) Let us know if you liked them and if you will be eating them again. Next Sunday we will take all the photos and pick a person at random to win a $10.00 Starbucks gift card!!
