OK fiends, Im venting again AGAINST stupid heartless pet owners!!! Last Tuesday evening Pete rescued a very tiny little dog by our house.. He was VERY thin and had a severely messed up eye, ( he did have a little sweater on size XXS ) he was the sweetest little guy ever. Of course we brought him in and fed him (he ate like he had never done so) As many of you know I have 4 dogs and they were NOT loving company...One of my amazing staff did not hesitate to keep this little guy on a temporary basis until he saw him and it quickly became permanent. He took him to the groomer and the vet, they both said he was seriously thin 3lbs 9 oz to be exact and he is now on 4 medication to heal his eye that the vet said had received trauma, a couple more days and he may have lost it. The vet said her opinion was that he ( now known as Snickers) probably was abused, obviously neglected and left to fend for his tiny little self. I have been asked if we attempted to find an owner, I will tell you a flat out NO, and had somebody came to us and said that was their dog, we would have been hard pressed to return him. Im completely disgusted with people that have so little compassion for another living thing. If you get a pet TAKE CARE OF IT and LOVE it! I dont believe this little guy got either in his estimated 9 months to a year of life. Thanks to Pete who rescued him from the street shaking and scared and to my awesome staff Brian and his partner Ricky, Snickers will now have all the love and attention he deserves!! Sorry for the book but Im fed up with stupidity!!
