OK, folks, I need to get a little personal - I need additional work! I am currently employed part-time with Community Service Inc., Youth Foundation, that requires about 10-15 hours per week (some flexibility). I have submitted over 35 applications to area companies & businesses in an effort to gain additional employment. For whatever reason (my age, qualifications, experience, the economy) I have hit a blank wall at every turn. I have been in the work force for over 40 years. I have experience in marketing, promotion, art graphic layout design, webpage design, radio & television broadcast production, event planning, music, public speaking, product presentation, writing, and some sales experience. I have also worked 4 years as a land professional in the oil & gas industry reviewing ownership title and mineral right leasing. Yes, you would think with all that experience there would be some employment opportunity in the valley region. If so, it has simply evaded me! I dont usually put such personal info out here in social network land, but I need work.
