OK, here is the best news that I can share. All that I get is the posts from the moms on the Moms page and it is very different depending on what a mon was able to hear. This school only has one more week befor they go into the Indoc course. Ben has met the requirements to be accepted into the USAF Superman School. He texted me tonight and let me know that only one of his six or seven closest buddies made it in. This hurt him alot because his buddy Russell has been a big encouragement to him but Russell has been sent to a preparation class to try again in three months. I love Russell. He is the young man that made the video for his mom that I posted for the moms last week. The most extreme numbers that I have heard from the other Moms is that only 30 of the 128 passed the PAST today. Dragstrem is one of the thirty. We were hooting and hollering here. Ben then sent me a text and said Dad, do not celebrate, This just means that I was one of the few that made it in, I still have to complete the school. My thoughts,,, You celebrate the small victories when they happen. He is now down to the point that only one out of ten will make it through the next school. Those are slim odds but it is better to make it than to not make it. God is in control and I am not. God is in control and Ben is not. He will do his best and I do have high expectations. He can be kicked out or dropped at any point in the next 85 days. I think that he has as good a chance as anyone and still has to prove that he has the heart and endurance and bravery. He is Gods creation, not mine and we will learn about what God has put into him and prepared for him. I am so stinking proud but he really is still only at the beginning. I thank you all for your prayers and wishes. They do help. If he is supposed to be there, he will be there. There is a long road ahead. Those that can,, I will request your prayers. Thank you all.
