OK, here’s the crazy calculus of cancer. On Monday a CT scan image might have been tumor activity on my liver. On Wednesday an MRI showed my liver is clean. Best possible news. But I have three new small tumors in the abdominal cavity, generally where they have always been. So it’s actually “good bad news”. It’s not good to have more tumors in the abdominal cavity but it’s better to have a clean liver. I start chemo tomorrow but I’m going in with a sense of relief. Is this nuts or what?
