OK if the rest of th eday goes as badly as so far this may be the only photos I can manage! I will start with Kojack for sponsorship. Kojack is probably about 10 years old now. He came from another rescue who mainly focus on taking in dogs who are about to die in the Pound the majority of whom are Staffies and Bull breeds but there are also a lot of Akitas and although Staffies are difficult to find places for, Akitas are quite unpopular even among rescues as they are ‘unusual’ dogs. Unlike Staffies they don’t LOVE you as soon as they see you. You are talking a fair amount of time before they even acknowledge you but once they care about you they are loyal to the last! Kojack came in 2008 after the devastating fire the sanctuary experienced down south when I wanted to try and continue helping animals in need at whatever level I could. When he first came he had been in kennels for over a year and he TOTALLY ignored EVERYTHING around him, I had NEVER seen a dog like that before although sadly I have seen quite a few since especially Akitas who just cannot cope with the situation they are in. He is the BOSS but he is an absolutely FANTASTIC dog who I am lucky to have share my life. Initially he wasnt too keen on the other dogs but he now just accepts that new ones come in frequently and although in an ideal world he would probably like me to have less and unlike the Staffies he does like his own spcae but he is just REALLY WONDERFUL and I dread the day when he is not here. He is NEVER more than a few feet away from me whatever I am doing. Who would like the opportunity to play a part in his life, you really will be very lucky as it is difficult to find a much better dog to be honest.
