OK, it is on my mind, so I am going to risk putting it out into the FB world. Firstly - anyone who knows me knows my strong opinions on child abuse and domestic violence. It is probably the same as yours. Secondly - I could not give one single whit about the NFL. So, here is the risky question... what is the right thing to do? I do not want to allow this to continue in any sense of the word, and would love to string up the perpetrators by their tiny little balls... after I know that they are guilty. I feel so adamantly that we cannot punish these men on accusation alone, yet I feel that we cannot let it go. I have known too many vindictive women in my life, and would hate to see a good mans life ruined by an angry female. Is this not the slipperiest of slopes? and then what do we do when there is video proof, yet the legal system lags. Do we have two sets of rules - we punish after the verdict UNLESS you are stupid enough to do this shit in front of a camera, in which case we dont want you around based solely on your stupidity, regardless of the verdict... These are not politically correct views, but I want feedback. Am I alone?
