OK leftovers first. The answer is no the shirt doesnt make Brad look anything like Ed. Dont ask again. Its Election Day which means it is a short dayside and long nightside for me. I will have results and I may actually try to get to Chicopee tonight. That seems to be ground zero for mayors races. The state democratic party doing a spot for Bissonette. Thats entertaining to me because city races are non partisan. Those running...good luck. Dont call me in the newsroom I aint interested. Call Bo on the morning show. They will eat that stuff up. The CCSU story out of Ct is of no interest to me. This is a kid who had his halloween costume on for three days and it wouldnt fit in his backpack--someone saw him and the story grew legs. Have to wonder about the safety of schools. I walked into a school for a meeting last night...I wont tell you where. But the security guard asked me what I needed and I told him. He didnt know and let me sit unattended for a few minutes. Just thinking out loud. One thing that I was going to say yesterday but the smoke in the building got in the way-- I was in Middlebury VT for a college football game and do what I normally dont do...I went the night before and stayed the entire day after. Went out for a run and the woman on Sunday morning told me ---with a bright smile...its rutting season. I mumbled something. Did my run and returned. Then I asked what the hell is rutting season. That apparently is the mating season for like deer and moose. Great. Now she tells me. Im running down the road going to be chased by a needy moose. Perhaps I just do what I normally do ---get into a city and get out as quickly as possible. Anyway---thats it. Nothing is burning. The engineer is on jury duty. Please Lord...sequester a jury for three months. See you in a bit.
