OK, lets talk Chub Cay... Theres new ownership involved and still in process of closing... No firm answers as to what the story will be there. As its that time of year to start planning and getting ducks in a row, Ill get the ball rolling. I am hoping to set up trips like we had in the past. 3 1/2 days fishing, hotel, air from Florida, lunches and soft drinks included. The on board cookouts we used to do got us out of favor with the powers that be and will not be part of these trips. As always your catch will be cut and packaged by us for the ride home. Early plan is to get in a couple legs on the rise of the March moon targeting wahoo and billfish. After the moon, we will still do some trolling but will turn up heat on bottom species as well. We have to stay within Bahamas limits on meat fish so we cant just pound the ever living crap out of them and need to mix it up some. On the rise of the April moon we will again target billfish and historically the dolphin get brutally big and numerous. All trips will incorporate at least some bottom fishing unless otherwise notified you wish to target pelagics. We will be doing full boat bookings and also by the seat ones. This has worked great in the past. Strangers arrive, life time friends leave. The fishing is off the charts good at Chub. Often so much so that guests ask to quit earlier than scheduled... Until I get firm answers from them I cant be 100% sure of pricing but Im guessing just short of $2000 a man. We have a number of folks already ready to go... I would love for you to let me know if you are interested too so I have some clue of how much supply buying I need to get done...
