OK, my rant of the day is NOT political....its about Fast Lane Blockers and Gravity Slowing. I have suspected all along that there is ONE A--HOLE out there who gets in the Fast Lane EARLY and cruises along UNDER the speed limit until he finds a slower car in the #2 lane. Then, he slows down to match the other cars speed. The slow lane is full of trucks, so that leaves the #3 lane, which faster trucks use to get around the SLOW trucks. In other words, GRIDLOCK!! Well, this morning I left earlier than usual (4:30 AM), and I SAW him!! EXACTLY as I described!. He already had about 10 cars lined up behind him...following him like sheep!!! #2 & #3 lanes opened up briefly, and I got around the line. The guy in front was yapping away on his cell phone; oblivious to all around him, and of course, when he hit a SLIGHT uphill grade, his speed dropped even more....under 60 MPH in the fast lane of a friggin Freeway. He should be hanged from the nearest overpass, and his body left there for WEEKS as a reminder to others!!
