OK now I see people blaming the president for the riots in Mo. If someone can tell me what Obama can do or say in this situation? He made a statement when Maya died. No one asks him to make a statement when a black man kills another black man on the streets. .Yet as soon as something other than our own self infused hatred on our own people happens, folks start crying foul..kind of like excusing the word nigga as long as white folks dont say it... Nobody rioted when that little girl was killed execution style..or when that guy beat his girlfriend senseless in an apt complex.. Nobody was asking prez to make a statement then. Folks marching through the streets calling it a movement when its white on black..but its street code silence when your neighbor kills your neighbor. Imagine the backlash he would face to directly address a black issue and not address EVERY black , yellow, red, brown or white issue that happens ever 15 seconds here in America. He is the president not just the black man/womans President.....If anyone reading this thinks Obama doesnt want to say something about this your wrong. His silence is most likely harder for him than the helplessness we feel. Folks need to stop picking the battles to fight and join the war.
