Some of My Favorite Beatles Tunes: Helter Skelter I love this because it is just raw, loud angst. one of the guitars is being pounded so hard its knocking it out of tune. I believe I heard in an interview that they wrote this song because My Generation by the Who was voted Loudest or Noisiest Rock & Roll Song at the time. This was the Beatles answer to that.
