OK, now that its been publicly announced, the security concerns no longer apply. So I can brag about Christina Coulter a little. Attending todays graduation ceremony is Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Nobel Peace Prize winner and President of Liberia. How is this a brag about my daughter? Once Christina heard that the President of Liberia was attending the ceremony, she arranged their national anthem for womens chorus, based only on a YouTube video of an orchestra performance and the lyrics. It was performed for the President this morning, and this afternoon, before graduation, she presented a copy of her arrangement to the President. Why did the President come to the graduation? Her grandson lives in Deland. He went to the same Montessori school as my kids, and was a close friend of my daughter back in elementary school days.
