OK, one more post before bed. I took the Pumpkin seeds from my medium/small pumpkin and roasted them in the oven. OMG! So tasty! pre heat oven 375. I thoroughly cleaned the pulp off the seeds. I put in a pot with water just over the top of the seeds. put in 4 Tbsp salt to the water and put aside for an hour. Took a cookie sheet and put foil wrap on it. Sprayed with pam. I then scooped the seeds out with a strainer and laid in thin layer on sheet. I took a large spoon and spooned out a small amount of the salt water just to wet the bottom of seeds and put in the oven for 20 min or until the salt water dissipated. then I melted 2 tbsp. of salted butter and poured over the seeds, and mixed to coat and put seeds back in a thin layer and baked for another 10 min. Let cool. Then eat. Remember these are small to med size seeds not from a large Pumpkin. WOW! so good and good for you! Good night all! From firemans Run Farm!
