OK.....report on Noah Was it biblical? the basic story line seemed to somewhat follow the story of Noah in the Bible but there were many things that had to have been added as the results of someones imagination. The fallen angels that were encased in stone that helped them build the ark and defended them from the crowds of wicked attempting to take the ark.....does not seem to be biblical. When the animals began to come to the ark....they did so in huge numbers.......not 2 x 2 or in 7s. Noah seemed to believe that they were saving the animals and that ALL of mankind was doomed..........I think he believed that they would be killed once the animals were saved. from what I know ......this is not correct as Noah and his family were to repopulate the earth. He was going to kill his grand daughters because of this......this backfired on him because when it came right down to it......he couldnt do it. The crowds before the rain didnt come around and scoff at him for building the ark initially.......they did come and try to take the ark when it started raining. Noah didnt seem to understand what GOD....whom he called simply the CREATOR.....wanted him to do. He had to go to his grandfather (?) Methusalam (man! I butchered the spelling of that!) to get the word confirmed. I dont guess the Bible tells us the entire story or gives us all the details of this story but it seems as if the people that wrote, produced and directed this movie were pretty creative with their imagination. Movie wasnt bad.....but not in the same class as GOD Is Not Dead. Biblical or not biblical ? Hard to say....just where do you draw the line? should you go see it because it does not seem to follow the bible? Most movies are not biblical. I wanted to see this for myself to make my own decision. So....from that perspective I am glad I went. Did this movie change my perspective on who GOD IS? NOT ONE BIT! The only really negative thing about it for me is that I did put some $ in the pockets of atheists but we probably do that every day that we do business in this country!
