OK, since I would like to raise these two beautiful children we adopted and move to China next year,I have decided that I have to take drastic, determined measures! I had a stomach attack last night that started at 8:30 PM and I finally got to sleep at 3:00 AM! I am so thankful that it happened on the weekend so I could rest today. But while resting today, I starting looking on line for resources and I found an amazing program on line that I can plan my meals and track them in regards to what is in them (calories, carbs, sodium, sugar, protein, fats and fiber.) I have set my goal and the program sets up my intake of all of those things in a given day. It is free or you can boost it up for $30 which I did. It has a calculator that I can type in anything to find the numbers on all of those things and I then can easily add to the plan. It also has a bank of recipes that I can choose from or I can build my own meals. And when I get ready to go see my doctor, I can run off a graph to show her exactly what I am consuming. I got a call last week to let me know that I have to come in because my lab work shows that my numbers are all horrible, well within heart attack/stroke ranges. Nothing left to do medically; it is all up to me to fight it with all I have got!! Last night was my wakeup call folks! startyourdiet
