OK so I have not made a single political post in months and I have answered very few. So I figure Ill chime in for one post. Not looking for a debate... just feel the need to say something then Ill step off and burn my soapbox. I am seeing wall to wall Republican party chest pounding. What I hope (even pray) is that these new leaders realized not a single one of them were hired. What happened last night, rightfully so, their opponents were fired. Most were fired not necessarily because of their actions but due to the actions and inaction of the presidency itself. Since the primary title wasnt on the line everyone with a D had to take the fall. My hope is that those newly hired officials along with all those that retained their titles recognize that the American people are fed up. If things at the most basic levels dont change and change quickly their victory will be very short lived. I am still a strong proponent of term limitations. Nobody should get rich being in office... and no office should be a life long career. No matter how much you like your guy or gal... absolute power corrupts absolutely. Once we are being governed by those that must live with their decisions/laws things will improve dramatically. Sniff sniff... that smell you smell is my soapbox burning. I just had to get that one off my chest.
