OK, so Ive been called ignorant, uninformed and racist plus any other number of things. Ive been told that the Republicans or more so the Tea Party was holding the country hostage and ended up loosing even after shutting down the government that caused so much suffering for government employees as they got back pay and were allowed to also keep whatever unemployment they may have received. So what is the reality today? The President himself is now proposing the exact same thing that the Republicans were asking for! Delaying the individual mandate! Really? Actually the whole suggestion is ludicrous! Insurance companies have been working on these new government mandated plans for the past 3 years and now they are told that they should now continue the old plans for another year! Not going to happen. What do you think is going to happen next year when companies get hit with this having to comply with the ACA? Im betting that the same sticker shock that we as individuals are seeing is going to cause them to rethink. When your existence is threatened, you go with the why that allows you to continue! It will most likely be more financially viable for many companies to pay the fine (lets call it what the Supreme Court called it, a TAX) make that the Tax than to actually pay for their employees insurance, thus putting more people on the exchanges. Lets not forget about that your child can stay on your plan until they are 26! Those are the same 18 to 25 year olds that the government is counting on to fund the ACA! Yeah, Im going out to pay an individual policy when I can stay as a dependent on my parents plan! By the way, did you know that once they, your older kids, are on your plan as a dependent you cant drop them until they are 26? A friend has a son in the military, he went to drop his son but was not allowed to even though his son receives his healthcare from the military! Remember, this was all to help just those that were uninsured and couldnt get insurance. No consideration was given to those that didnt want insurance. No consideration was given for the individuals needs. No consideration was given to the freedom of choice! No one is now allowed to fail or make a poor judgment! This fiasco now affects more negatively than what it was supposed to help! This leader who promised to be the person that was going to bring us all together has in reality divided us more than we have been in a long time as a nation! He claims to be a leader, but yet every time something happens he is blindsided, he was unaware, he wasnt told about any issues! He doesnt know what happened in Benghazi, he doesnt know about guns going to Mexico, he doesnt know that his website doesnt work. So why is no one fired? But he does know that he lied to the people of this country about what was actually in the ACA! Race has nothing to do with anything, these are the signs of a very bad manager! As a manager, you are responsible for all that you manage! If you dont know what your people are doing, that is your fault!
