OK....so, after 10 years I finally listen to Larry and have this spot on top of my ear checked. It is Basal Cell Carcinoma skin cancer. In a couple of weeks I will have Mohs Surgery, this technique has a cure rate of 98 percent. The next day I will have re construction surgery by a plastic surgeon, depending on how deep the cancer is will determine how many trips to the plastic surgeon. This cancer has not spread to other parts of my body..but as the Doctor said today.....Cancer is Cancer....nothing is ever simple. At least Larry got to see the St Louis arch and Busch Stadium today and will see more of them in the next few weeks.
