OK so once again its time for me to ask a fellow DJ. To all my brother and sister djz around the world here is my problem. 1st off I didnt get a contract signed but thats my problem and why Im stuck. I had a unnamed promoter call me to do a gig at a club. 1st off the date and venue changed last min. But anyways the door open at 9 I tell the promoter that I will be there at 830 for sound check he agrees I go set up and at 8:50 i start my set. Yea it was raining and the early crowd never really showed up and around 12:15 the club shuts down cuz no one show up including the promoter. Now I talked to the promoter when the club shut down but ever since then I am getting no response and because I did that gig I missed out on foe sho money, so my fellow djz what am I to do? Most likely I wont see this money but as a man and as a fellow DJ would I be wrong if I exposed his ass? I mean I respect real if I had got at least a text saying something I could respect it but with not as much as even a fb messages should I then stoop to that level and put them out there for the world to see? I know somebody out there feels me and has been in this same position. Im not saying Im the best DJ in the world but shouldnt I get paid my money I mean after all I aint call him I aint sell him a dream I aint cost him money. So why should I pay if because he aint do his job and promote good enough.
