Shout out to all my female friends who work in science, math, engineering or technology. And thank you Verizon Wireless and Makers for producing this commercial that educates and inspires us to rethink how we raise girls. AND for backing up your advertising with the work of the The Verizon Foundation. I learned that 66% of 4th grade girls say they like science and math, but only 18% of college engineering majors are female, and only 25% of STEM jobs (science, technology, engineering, math) are held by women.
