https://youtube/watch?v=W8wy2XumFrU To be fair, the scriptures states not to accept an accusation against an elder unless it can be confirmed by two or three witnesses, 1 Tim 5:19, so this cannot be accepted unless that standard is met. However, there is an obvious problem with the churches at large as they are being uncommonly silent on the persecution of fellow Christians around the world. The policies of President Obama has lead to more militant Muslims being in power in some countries and has resulted in mass killing and persecution of Christians there. Why are the church Pastors and leaders so silent and they will not even ask their congregations to say a prayer to help our brothers and sisters. The New Testament shows that: we are to contribute to the needs of other saints (Rom 12:13), we are to visit those brethren in prison (Mat 25:39-40) (Heb 13:3) commands us to remember those in prison, and Peter was rescued from prison by an angel in answer to the churchs prayers (Act 12:1-17. Galatians 6:10 says the we are to do good to all people but ESPECIALLY to those of the faith. so while it is great to help and serve those in need around us and in our communities we must also remember those fellow believers being persecuted and imprisoned for Christ. If we are not doing so why not? This disturbs me greatly in my spirit that it seems to be politically correct to ignore the growing persecution of fellow believers by our churches. Something is very wrong when many of us have heard of Pastor Saeed in Iran but have not been told he is or was a Carvery Chapel Pastor. There are no perfect churches but we should not purposefully be cold to our brethren in chains nor disobedient to pray or help them. My way of helping for them has been to contribute to Samaritans Purse and designate my contribution, small as it is, for persecuted brethren. I trust that ministry under Franklin Graham. There are are other ministries that also help.
