OK, this week Im taking on a musical challenge, offfered to me by John Baxter, 5 songs over 5 days. Im going to focus on 5 bands who should be FAR more popular than they are/were. First up All I Want is You by SAIGON KICK. Saigon Kicks debut album arrived on Third Stone/Atlantic in 1991. At the time they were too metal to be alternative and too alternative to be metal. Despite this, they played some incendiary live shows, while songwriters Jason Bieler and Matt Kramer crafted some huge and beautiful songs. The band have recently reformed. All I want is you is from their second album The Lizard and is a fine example of how they combined both characteristics. Huge and beautiful.
