Heres what it takes to grow beans, taken from a local job listing: Ability to operate a 4x4 Tractor, Row Crop Implements, a forklift, a Company Vehicle, a Personal Computer or Laptop, Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite 2007 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, & Outlook), search engines, databases. And have a pesticide application license. And lift a 50# bag of beans, and recognize weeds versus beans, and know when the beans are ready.
