OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA: HIS NAME IS ALL YOU CAN CARRY - AS BAGGAGE The essence of The Srimad Bhagavad Gita then, is to even read a verse, learn, try to understand, realize LORD KRSNA and HIS presence as our inner SELF or SOUL or our own Atman, and then to firmly decide and PRACTICE each day to get close to HIM, by any one of the nine processes of devotion as announced by Prahalada Maharaj to his own father Hiranyakashipu...!!! sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam pada sevanam arcanam vandanam dasyam sakhyam atma nivedanam Srimad Bhagavatam 7:5:23 In material life at home or at work, one realizes soon enough that if we had NOT PRACTICED something ever or NOT done it Enough times, then it is hard to perform at a professional level. Also, if we had never done something in our whole life, like Fly a Plane, then there is a very remote possibility that we may do it well and do it also in case of an Emergency at the LAST MOMENT when we are already very scared and confused and cannot think right.....!!! If the above phenomenon is so easy for us to understand, then it will be easy for us to understand that if one were to NOT PRACTICE all their lives, or decide that there is really NO NEED to Practice our love and devotion to HIM as recommended above, then how would we perform the same at the emergent Time and Place of our own LAST important FLIGHT, when we leave this body.....!!! Since how can we do something now, that we have NOT done before.......!!! The Laws of Migration and Immigration are so very educational to us each day, as we travel 100s of thousands of miles within short periods of time. But, ALL of us MUST and always have to follow all the rules of IMMIGRATION and MUST also know the CARRY-ON Baggage allowed on hand…….!!! Since everything else that Does Not fit or is too Big and Not Allowed, then has to be left behind or given to someone [near/dear] who can then call it as MINE; or even may have to be Dumped - because that is the Law of Migration [ as defined by humans]. Similarly then, at the time and place of our departure from this body we MUST also remember what our CARRY-ON BAGGAGE can and MUST be....!!! [given the Supreme Laws of Transmigration]. Since we have to LEAVE everything Material [human body] behind us and the ONLY THING that will go and is ALLOWED as CARRY-ON BAGGAGE is only SPIRITUAL and that is - HIS Names.....!!! FOOD FOR THOUGHT then : Let us make sure we have decided firmly, practiced, packed, stored, saved, well-kept, remember it, and be ready to find it and then make sure to TAKE our own ONLY ALLOWED CARRY-ON BAGGAGE with us as we depart finally .....!!!! So Chant, meditate, sing, speak, read, write, listen, text, email, view, spread and propagate HIS names to PRACTICE each day .......!!!
