OMFG!!!! Max was signing please but obviously I didnt know what it was he wanted. So I told him to go and get his PECS book. Its usually kept on the side table in the living room. But it was still in his Tigger ruck sack. So I said to him Max go and get your pecs book out of you tigger bag in the hall. And he bloody went and got it!!!!!!!! For someone who has a severe language delay (both auditory and speaking) thats a really complicated sentence to understand. He managed to not only process what I had said, but he was then also able to act on the instruction!!!!!!!!!!! Totally bloody amazing!!!!! I was expecting the raging and biting his fist which usually happens when hes told something that he doesnt understand/struggles to act upon, but he dealt with it perfectly. Clever lad :) xxxxxxxxxx
