Depending on the situation, for example the children were playing cops and robbers, NO ACTION SHOULD BE DONE! On the other hand, if the child did it and made a threat, thats different. Call the parents in have a school punishment like detention with education about citizenship and how threats are not tolerated on the childs level. Suspension of an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGED CHILD, performed no educational value to them on what they did wrong.
