OMG!!!!! Its around 5:30am and I am so excited about the Gift from God I received at 2:00 this morning!!! My heart has been breaking, and last night I finally just broke down and couldnt stop crying. It was just before Thanksgiving last year that my most Precious Angel, Sugar died. My life changed forever and I knew I would hate Thanksgiving, the Fall, and the entire season for the rest of my life. Daniel, my youngest son, told me that Sugar is playing very happily on the Rainbow Bridge but would be sad if she heard my crys. I finally pulled myself together and reaffirmed my determination to save as many dogs as I can. My 2 dogs sleep in their crates at night, (their choice not mine!!!) and I kept hearing this unstoppable scratching noise, (I sleep on the couch). I yelled at my cat, Gizmo to stop doing whatever it was he was doing but I heard the scratching again. I raised up and Gizmo was high on his cat perch looking down at me with his usual your an idiot look (Im use to that look!!!). There it was again, louder!! My son was asleep on the floor (lots of Holiday company, beds are full) he jumped up and opened the front door. There he stood, a precious Gift from God that Sugar guided to my apartment, a little Yorkie!!!!! He was almost frozen from the cold. We brought him in wrapped him in a little cowboy blanket, he snuggled up to me and didnt move until I had to get up. Now hes glued to Daniel. I know he belongs to some one, I even went walking around to see if anyone was looking for him but there is not a soul in sight. Maybe, just maybe this is really a true miracle and he will help fill the awful void in my life and the gaping break in my heart. No one nor any animal could ever take Sugars place (or any of the Angels Ive lost over the years) but now I know she is watching and still taking care of me just like she always did. Happy Thanksgiving everyone ad please when you have your prayers today remember all of Gods earthbound Furr Angels that he has sent to fill our lives with unconditional love. Also pray that the homeless, neglected, starving and abused ones find a home and peace in their lives tat they deserve so very much.
