If you believe there is a problem with your meter, it can be removed for testing at an independent laboratory. If it is found to be working correctly, a fee of $200.00 would be charged to your account. We suggest to do a test on this yourself first to avoid the potential fee. If you have a look at your meter you should be able to see either a light flashing or a disc spinning. This shows that the meter is currently recording usage. Once you have found the light or disc, we recommend turning everything off at the property (from the wall, not the main switch), including your hot water system, fridge, freezer etc. for around 10-15 minutes to let the power drain out.
